Terms of service

1. Who you are dealing with

crackedlist is operated by TODO — your full legal name, at TODO — postal address. Contact: TODO — support@crackedlist.dev. These terms are governed by the laws of TODO — e.g. Tamil Nadu, India.

2. What the service is

crackedlist is a public leaderboard. You submit a website you own or made, we screenshot it, and other people rank it by comparing two sites at a time. We publish your listing, your rank, and the counts behind it.

3. Your account

• You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. If you are under 18, get a parent or guardian to agree on your behalf.
• One live listing per person. One listing per domain.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You may delete your account and listing at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing us.

4. What you submit

• You must own the site you submit, or have made it. Submitting someone else's work is grounds for immediate removal without refund.
• You grant us permission to screenshot the site, store those screenshots, and display them, your listed text, and your rank publicly and in share cards.
• You keep every other right to your work. We claim no ownership of it.
• No illegal content, malware, phishing, sexual content involving minors, content that exists to harass a person, or sites whose purpose is to deceive visitors.
• Reviews you write must be about the work, not the person.

5. Ranking, and what we do not promise

• Rank is generated by other people's votes through the system described in How this works. We do not guarantee any particular rank, any amount of traffic, any number of clicks, or any commercial outcome.
• Paid placements buy appearances, never picks or score. We may change the ranking algorithm; if a change is material we will say so on /rules.
• We may exclude votes that appear manipulated, and may remove listings that manipulate them.

6. Payment

• Prices are shown on /pricing in US dollars. All purchases are one-time charges. There are no subscriptions and nothing auto-renews.
• Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
• Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
• We may change prices for future purchases. A change never affects something you already bought.

7. Removal and suspension

We may hide or remove a listing, or suspend an account, if it breaks these terms, if the site becomes unreachable for a long time, if we receive a credible ownership complaint, or if we are required to by law. Where a paid placement is cut short by our decision and you did not break these terms, we refund the unused portion.

8. Your content stays yours; our site stays ours

The crackedlist name, design, code and the ranking data we generate are ours. Do not scrape the site at scale, resell our rankings, or copy the design wholesale.

9. No warranty, and the limit of our liability

The service is provided as-is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted here with a new date at the bottom of the page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
